Michelin-starred Barcelona restaurants
The Spaniards are great lovers and connoisseurs of good cuisine, the blessing of the climate, the sea and traditions give them a unique feast culture, joyful, bright, with intense tastes and aromas and without any frills in the cooking technique. In recent years, a new generation of chefs has entered the scene of Spanish gastronomy – young, desperate heads, ready to experiment with traditional cuisine, but above all, great professionals who have passed a tough international school. Today they own the majority of stars awarded by the famous Michelin rating.
Barcelona restaurants with Michelin stars are mostly small establishments with creative cuisine, thoughtful design, specific atmosphere and prices, which are often pleasantly different from the French and Geneva ones. The main difference lies in the plane of the price category, decor and decor – it remains only to choose a combination to your taste. By the way, most of the “star” establishments are located at fashionable hotels, which is rather not a trend, but a tradition: the best restaurants of Catalonia have long been at the courtyards. We offer a list of Barcelona restaurants with Michelin stars.

One of the “veterans” of Michelin stars, opened in 2006 by Baki chef Martín Berasategui, the owner of the restaurant of the same name in Bilbao (also with three Michelin stars).
