Restaurant of the week: Museum Le Club discreet pathos
This “entertainment museum” attracted us with original interiors with discreet pathos, a gourmet and trendy menu with Mediterranean, Japanese and Ukrainian cuisine. Gourmets will definitely not be disappointed in the Museum Le Club with the author’s interpretation of dishes performed by the young but promising chef, Valentin Trofimchuk.
Restaurant Museum Le Club
Address: Kiev, Museum Lane, 10
The discreet pathos of the ancient caryatid mansion is supported by golden curtains, fancy baroque frames of paintings and mirrors, snow-white ladders with a “museum-like” carpet. Getting into the spacious room of the club-restaurant, where they can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people, visitors can see a very unusual mixture of styles.
Here, strict sofas in the style of minimalism white and cream-colored surround tables on stucco legs with glass tops. Luxurious neon jellyfish chandeliers coming down from the ceiling create a surreal feel. Glamor, pathos and a mixture of styles that our restaurateurs love so much at Museum Le Club seem quite appropriate and harmonious.
The brand chef of the project, Valentin Trofimchuk, is well known in the restaurant world. Under his leadership, created the menu of many successful institutions of the capital. Valentin specializes in European and Japanese cuisine, creating author’s dishes based on popular recipes.
In addition, he is subject to such a fashionable and relevant trend in world cooking as molecular cuisine. Valentin Trofimchuk worked in the same kitchen with Italian and French chefs, and also was trained by the best French pastry chefs.
Under the leadership of Valentin Trofimchuk, a small but very capacious menu was developed, which is able to satisfy the demands of all fans of “club”. At the same time, the sophistication of these dishes and the beauty of their presentation are fully consistent with the level of the establishment.
We highly recommend all gourmets to try “Cheese with Truffle Honey” (295 UAH), “Original Italian Meat Delicatessen with Grissini” (405 UAH), “Duck Leg Baked on Apple with Walnuts” (199 UAH) or “Lamb with Vegetable Sauce Chinese plums ”(320 UAH).
Sweet tooths will definitely appreciate “Cheesecake with raspberry marmalade” and “Quiche and slice of blueberries”.
